Stick tipped hair extensions (also known as i-tip) are removed using micro ring opener pliers. These pliers are used to clamp the micro rings in the opposite way as they have been originally clamped for application, this will open the ring easy for removal. Once the micro ring has been reshaped you can slide it off the clients head.

Tools Needed For Micro-Ring Removal:

Choice of pliers: ▪ Opener Pliers or Smooth Jaw Pliers or HairX Pro Micro Ring Pliers
▪ Hair Sectioning Grippers

Micro-Ring removal should only be done by a trained professional.

Here is a simple guide to help you remove micro-ring hair extensions

To remove micro rings its please use the correct Removal Pliers.	Open the plier and put the closed ring in the groove.
Keep the ring standing in the groove.	Close the pliers quickly and re-shape the micro ring.
Slide the micro ring off	The ring can be re-used
Removal completed.
